This piece was taken on the wonderful Oak Alley plantation in Southern Louisiana. I was struck by the symmetry of the trees and the almost perfect location of the sidewalk in the middle. It was truly messmerizing. This shot was originally taken in color with my Nikon 8008s. I used 35mm Fuji Velvia film and it was changed to black and white in the lab. There was too much clutter for it to remain in color.
