Sentry

This piece was taken in the national forest above Encampment, WY. I had made several trips to this location up a very rough road to visit a different waterfall in my quest to finish my waterfall series. On a rainy return trip I had hiked passed this spot multiple times and it was only this once that I realized this might be a good piece. I waited for about an hour until the light was just right and this was the result. This shot was taken in color with my Nikon 8008s. I used 35mm Fuji Velvia film shot at ISO 35, F22 for 2 minutes.
